Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GreenCare Pro ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our lawn care business management platform, websites, customer portals, and related payment features (the "Service").
1. Who this policy covers
- Business users — owners and staff who subscribe to and operate GreenCare Pro.
- End customers — homeowners and clients whose data is entered by a business or who use a business subdomain portal / quote form.
- Website visitors — people who browse greencarepro.com or related marketing pages.
When a lawn care business uses GreenCare Pro to store customer information, that business is typically the controller of its customer data. GreenCare Pro processes that data to provide the Service.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile
Name, email, phone, password (hashed by our auth provider), business details (name, address, EIN/DBA where provided), home base location for routing, and subscription status.
Operational business data
Customers, service addresses, jobs, routes, messages, invoices, expenses, staff roles/permissions, quote/service requests, photos attached to jobs, and related notes.
Payment information
Payment card and bank details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We may store Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, invoice references, and payment status metadata needed to operate billing features.
Usage and device data
IP address, browser/user agent, approximate location derived from IP, cookies/session tokens, and product analytics needed for security, debugging, and improving the Service.
Location and maps
Service addresses and home base coordinates used for scheduling and Mapbox-powered routing. Mobile field features may use device GPS while navigation is active.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service (scheduling, routing, messaging, dashboards).
- Process subscriptions and facilitate customer payments via Stripe.
- Send transactional email (invites, receipts, job completion notices, payment failures).
- Enforce staff permissions and prevent unauthorized access.
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety.
- Communicate product updates or support responses (you may opt out of non-essential marketing).
4. How we share information
We share data with service providers that help us operate the platform, including:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — subscription billing and Connect/customer payment processing.
- Mapbox — geocoding, maps, and route optimization.
- Resend / email providers — transactional email delivery.
- Hosting / infrastructure — application hosting and monitoring.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect the Service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with appropriate safeguards). We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and essential site functionality. Disabling cookies may prevent login and dashboard access.
6. Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal/accounting requirements. Businesses may delete or update customer records they control within the product. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and role-based permissions for staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and configuring staff permissions appropriately.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Business users can update much of their data in account/business settings. End customers should contact the lawn care business that collected their data; we will assist that business as needed. To exercise rights with us directly, email privacy@greencarepro.com.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
